Samantha sat on the couch feeding Hailey while she waited for Jeff to come home. He'd done some things recently that made her question her sanity for falling for him, but she loved him anyways.

Jeff whimpered softly before he slowly opened the door, he had got into a fight and had hurt his arm.

Samantha smiled. "Hey baby," the brunette greeted warmly.

Jeff faked a smile "Hi songbird."

Jeff's false smile might have fooled anyone else, but Samantha knew him better than that. His bright green eyes had always been easily readable, and right now, they spoke volumes. "Jeffy, baby are you okay?" Samantha asked, concerned.

"Yeah i'm fine bright eyes." Jeff answered quickly.

"You're a horrible liar Jeffery," Samantha said. "What's wrong?"

"Theres nothing wrong." Jeff said quickly as he hurried from the room.

Samantha leaned her head back with a sigh. If Jeff wouldn't tell her what was wrong, she'd figure it out on her own. She walked up to Hailey's room to put the young girl to bed, before walking to the kitchen to start dinner.

Jeff sighed as he sat down and looked at his arm.

Samantha was in the kitchen working on dinner. She purposefully chose to make spaghetti because she knew she couldn't reach the sauce. "Jeff!" Samantha called.

"Yeah?" Jeff asked as he walked into the kitchan.

Samantha pointed to the spaghetti sauce. "Can you get that for me?" she asked. She planned on watching his movements as he did.

"Yeah sure." Jeff said as he reached with his good arm.

Samantha watched. If Jeff was right handed, why was he reaching for the jar with his left arm?

"Here you go songbird." Jeff said as he handed it to her.'

Samantha nodded. "Jeff, what's wrong with your arm?"

"Nothings wrong Sammy." Jeff said quickly.

"You're right handed Jeffery," Samantha said. "Yet you grabbed the jar with you left hand."

Jeff shrugged "So what i grabbed the jar with the wrong hand big deal."

"Jeffery, I know you better than you think," Samantha said.

Jeff sighed "Theres nothing wrong songbird for the last time."

"Lemme see it then," Samantha said.

Jeff sighed and held out his arm.
