Adam smiled softly and worriedly at Jay. He had to pull himself together for Jay's sake. "Hey," Adam said softly, mentally cursing the crack in his voice. "It's okay," Adam said softly, carrying Jay into the infirmary. "Addy's got you, Addy's here," he whispered gently, much like he had when he and Jay were kids. "I'm not going anywhere, you just stay with me now okay?"
