Samantha was almost nine months pregnant now as she paced behind the door that led her out onto the gymnasium floor. Tonight she was going to tell Jeff how she felt. She was going to put her heart on the line. She wanted him to be by her side when Hailey was born. It was now or never.

Jeff sat backstage waiting for Samantha. He has finally worked up his nerve and was going to tell her how he felt tonight.

Samantha watched as a senior girl took the stage. She was supposed to go on next. This was her chance.

Jeff smiled as she saw Samantha getting ready. He was tuneing his guitar, he was on after Samantha.

Samantha took a deep breath when her name was announced. She walked out with a smiile and stood in front of the mic.

"I wrote this song for someone I've become very close to here at Westbrook, hopefully they know who they are," Samantha said. the music began and she started to sing the song she had written for Jeff.

Jeff felt his heart beat fast, Samantha felt the same. when she came backstage again he tried to go and talk to her but his name was called. he went on stage and said "I wrote this song for a very dear person." then he started.

"That's what you think," Samantha whispered softly. Jeff's words had touched her deeply. His voice captivated her the same way his green eyes had done so many months ago. He really felt the way she did. This was it, this was her new start.

Jeff walked backstage, he looked for around for Samantha. But when he didn't she her immediately, he sighed softly thinking he had been rejected.

Samantha walked up behind him. "Jeff," she said softly.

"OH hi Samantha." said Jeff nervoursly "I heard your song it was good."

Samantha smiled, her bright blue eyes sparkling. "Thanks, so was yours," she said.

Jeff smiled "Thanks." he said "i wrote it for you."

"I wrote mine for you," Samantha confessed. She stared at her feet as she started to blush.

Jeff blushed sightly "Really?" he asked softly.

Samantha nodded. "I've sorta had a crush on you for a while now," she confessed.

Jeff smiled softly "I've have too," then he leaned in and gently kissed her.

Samantha smiled against Jeff's lips and gently kissed him in return.

Jeff smiled as he pulled back "I love you." he said softly.

Samantha bit her lip. She wanted to tell Jeff she loved him too, but there was still something she was afraid of. "Jeff, are you sure you wanna do this?" Samantha asked. "I mean, I'm gonna have a child to raise soon, are you sure you're ready to take on a responsibility like that?"

Jeff kissed her forehead "I am more sure then anything, i want to be here for you and your little girl."

Samantha smiled and kissed him again. "I love you too," Samantha murmured finally against his lips.

Jeff smiled and hugged her, he couldn't see the future but he knew it was going to be wonderful with her. "You want to get a bite to eat?" he asked.

Samantha giggled when Hailey started to kick. "I think the little one likes the sound of that."

Jeff laughed and said "Well lets go, the little one has spoken."

Samantha nodded and placed one of Jeff's hands on the handle of her walker, placing hers on top of it.
