Jeff glanced over at Samantha, he felt butterflies in his stomach when he looked at Samantha.

Samantha smiled and nervously tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. Part of her was terrified of this feeling. She didn't want to lose anyone else like she'd lost Chris.

Samantha pulled out a piece of paper and started to draw. The words "Will anyone get close to me? I'm damaged, as i'm sure you know" written in the center of it.

Samantha felt her hand reach up to clutch the pendant around her neck, the last present Chris had ever given her. She bit her lip to try to stop the tears from falling.

Samantha didn't respond, she simply grabbed her walker and dashed out of the class room as quickly as she could, heading for the main entrance of the school as she began to sob.

Samantha turned around at the sound of Jeff's voice and wiped her eyes. "Y-You followed me," Samantha said softly. "Why?"

Samantha wiped her eyes again. "I'm scared," she admitted. "I see the same spark in your eyes I used to see in Chris', and I an't lose someone else.......not again."

Samantha nodded slowly and let herself rest in Jeff's embrace. She trusted him. Something told her that Chris had sent Jeff to her for a reason.

Samantha continued to rest there, smiling a bit when she felt her unborn daughter kick. She pulled away and rested her hand on her stomach. "Momma's alright Hailey," Samantha said gently. "It's alright."
